Lab personnel have been involved in the study of Venus' zonal winds and composition. This has included observations of Venus taken from ground-based facilities using GSFC-built Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter cameras. In addition, a GSFC Discovery mission concept proposal (Vesper, PI: G. Chin) was chosen for further study. Though not yet selected for full mission funding, the Lab continues to investigate ways to explore Venus.
