Geronimo Villanueva is a planetary scientist with primary interests in remote sensing of planetary atmospheres through high-resolution molecular-spectroscopy at infrared, UV, X-ray, sub-millimeter and microwave wavelengths. He is a Research Assistant Professor (Physics) at Catholic University of America, in residence at NASA-Goddard.

He was born in Mendoza, Argentina
in Apr-1978 and holds Italian and Argentinean nationalities.
