1. What is your role on the DREAM team?

My main role is to develop models for surface charging, dust transport and related phenomena.

2. What about DREAM do you find most interesting? Most challenging?

Despite the many missions, there is still a lot that we don.t know about the lunar environment. This means that there is a great opportunity for the DREAM team to make significant advances in our understanding of how the Moon interacts with the space environment, which is both exciting and challenging!

3. What other NASA programs or missions have you participated in?

I am currently a participating scientist with the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) mission.

4. What kind/level of education do you have?

I have a Masters degree in physics and a PhD in space physics from Imperial College London, UK.

5. What advice do you have for students who want to work for NASA or on NASA-related research?

Try to get an internship at a NASA center while in high school or as an undergraduate. Choose to study at a university where they do the kind of space research that you.re interested in . it.s helpful to get to know a researcher who can give you advice and guidance specific to your interests.

6. What are your favorite things to do outside of work?

Spending time with my wife and two sons (aged 4-1/2 and 2-1/2).
