The 1st Planetary CubeSat Science Symposium was successfully held at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center on Thursday, August 4, 2016, with broad participation of over 50 CubeSat scientists and developers. Discussions included current missions, mission concepts, and opportunities for future mission selections. An afternoon panel discussed strategic and technical aspects of planetary CubeSats, in particular, with strong engagement from the audience during a question and answer period. The day concluded with tours of the Dellingr and CHREC developments ongoing at GSFC.
