The ISFM hosted its First Annual ISFM Poster Session (a.k.a. Sip and Science) on Friday, September 21, 2018. Scientific posters representing the projects currently funded by the SSED work packages were on display in an environment designed to foster creative thinking and collaborative discussions.

GIFT Tests and Refines Tools for Future Use on Places Such as the Moon and Mars

To protect precious hours available for extraterrestrial scientific investigations, a team at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland — the Goddard Instrument Field Team (GIFT) — is testing and refining the chemical-analyzing and land-surveying tools that will assist future human explorers of places like the Moon and Mars.

First Annual ISFM Poster Session

The SSED will host its First Annual ISFM Poster Session (a.k.a. Sip and Science) on Friday, September 21, 2018. Scientific posters representing the projects currently funded by the SSED work packages will be on display in an environment designed to foster creative thinking and collaborative discussions. For those who are on site at GSFC, the event will be held 3:00-4:00pm in Building 34, room W150.
