Coming soon! The Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover Landing Site Activity is an inquiry-based activity where students investigate four landing sites proposed for Curiosity in the context of a role they are assigned (specialized scientist, engineer, or project manager). They work in groups, participate in discussions, and ultimately collaboratively decide on a location to send Curiosity, simulating the real landing site selection process undertaken by NASA. This activity is designed for students in grades 6–8.
